"This is a fabulous place to get out of the house. They have made a very comfortable and inviting outdoor seating area to stay open during the shut down. The staff is wonderful, wine is fabulous and view is lovely. There is even an outdoor TV to enjoy the game, complete with throw blankets, heaters and snacks." - JR, Google Review

Hard Hat Winery

Jim Davenport had been making wine as a hobby for over a decade and had become highly proficient in his ability to produce a wide variety of noteworthy wines. His upcoming retirement from his career at the time gave rise to the idea of turning his craft from a labor of love into the pursuit of providing a variety of distinguished wines, fitting for everyone from the occasional wine drinker to the true connoisseur.

In June of 2018 Jim brought Vern Armstrong, a life long friend and fellow Navy diver, and Greg Lone, an Army veteran, together to help form Hard Hat Winery.  Combining Jim’s experience as a vintner with Vern and Greg’s knowledge in marketing and business development has created a team that brings a unique and unforgettable wine tasting experience.

Wines Produced: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Red blends, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon blanc

"This winery is veteran owned and operated and the wine is fantastic! Kid and pet friendly with fabulous outdoor seating area. They even have appetizers available for purchase." -Local Guide, Google Review
