Woodinville's Warehouse District boasts over 70 densely-packed small boutique wineries, restaurants, and breweries. This industrial park is an ideal spot to go wine tasting if you want to park the car and walk to a wide range of premium Washington wineries...This is the home of more boutique wineries per square foot than any wine region in the world! Unlike the majority of wineries in Woodinville's southern Hollywood District, many wineries in the Warehouse District also make their wines here. You'll be able to look behind the curtain and see barrels stacked high.

On this tasting itinerary, we've highlighted a few of the must-visit tasting rooms to visit when you go to Woodinville's Warehouse District. All three of this year's featured wineries are located next to each other in the Warehouse District's neighborhood The Junction.

Armstrong Family Winery

Started in 2011 by owner/winemaker Tim Armstrong and his wife Jen, Armstrong Family Winery has in short order garnered the attention of critics and consumers alike with their memorable Washington wines. A true urban winery, their space is a blend of urban industrial materials and hand-crafted, artisan charm. The tasting room sits at the entrance to their winery, with large glass garage doors that open to sidewalk seating. Guests can enjoy tasting in comfort, either at their walk-up tasting bar, or seated at the bar or a private table. The tasting room is in full view of the production space, so guests can see the tanks, barrels and other equipment in action.The tasting room features work from local artists, great music, delicious bites and friendly people.

Five Star Cellars

Based in the Walla Walla Valley, Five Star Cellars was founded in 2000 with a small lot of Cabernet Sauvignon by David Huse. The winery has enjoyed gradual growth over the years, and in recent years opened their satellite tasting room in Woodinville's Warehouse District. The focus is on crafting exceptional red wines from Walla Walla fruit, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Syrah and more consistently selling out each vintage. Visit their Woodinville tasting room for the current release reds, many of which have been aged in barrel and bottle for 5+ years.

Sol Stone Winery

Established in 2011, ​Sol Stone Winery is a family-owned producer of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Rhone varietal wines sourced from distinguished Washington state vineyards. After seven years of making wine on the grounds of the family’s pastoral home in Sammamish, owners Buzz and Karen Buckingham relocated the winery to Woodinville in 2018. The winery is guided by a philosophy of enjoyment,​ ​​friendship and community engagement. ​Their comfortable tasting room at The Junction in Woodinville offers exceptional customer service as the staff focuses on creating a wonderful experience for each and every guest.
