As a mechanical engineer living in Colorado, winemaking was far from becoming a reality for Elevation Cellars' founder Steven Stuart. But his dream became a possibility in 1997 when he was offered an engineering job in Woodinville, Washington. Little did he know he was walking into a world of wineries, tasting rooms, and the hub of Washington's viticulture.
Steven wasted no time diving into winemaking, and began to establish relationships with some of the best vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Peak One Wine Club was launched in 2012, and Elevation wines are now in distribution all around the region. Elevation is committed to creating wines with character, structure and the ability to age, with the simple intent that they will be thoroughly enjoyed around your table.
Wines Produced: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Red Blends, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo
"I love this place. They have great wine and they treat everybody like a family." -AS, Google Review
Rocky Pond Winery
The founders of Rocky Pond built their home near Chelan and originally planned to plant a few vines to remember their family trips to France and Italy, and the passionate, dedicated winemakers they met there. Before long, they discovered that passion and dedication had become theirs, too. In short time they acquired Clos CheValle and planted their own Double D Vineyard.
Rocky Pond has two tasting rooms; one in Chelan, and the second in Woodinville. The Woodinville tasting room is a modern space to relax and enjoy the wide range of Rocky Pond wines.
Wines Produced: Sauvignon Blanc, White Blends, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Viognier, Rosé, Grenache, Red Blends, Syrah
